The Illinois Institute of Technology Women’s Soccer team hosted a strong Augustana College team on September 7. Despite a banner night for goalkeeper Jessica Park, the Scarlet Hawks fell 3-0 to the Vikings.

How it Happened
- Illinois Tech was able to hold off multiple efforts and corner kicks from the Vikings in the early going. At the 27 minute mark, Augustana snuck a goal past Park on a corner kick to take a 1-0 lead.
- While Illinois Tech generated a few chances late in the first half, Augustana outshot the Scarlet Hawks 14-3 in the frame. Park recorded 10 saves to keep the Vikings at bay.
- In the second half, Augustana dominated possession to start things off. The Vikings scored at the 56 minute mark to go up 2-0.
- The onslaught of shots continued for the Vikings, as the team attempted 17 shots in the half. Augie scored once again in the 69th minute to go up 3-0.

- Sammi Farcos, Grace Iaquinta, and Anna Fank all tallied goals for the Vikings. Iaquinta and Bri Frys each tallied assists.
