The Controller’s Office team and the IIT community mourn the loss of Sharon Muldrow-Thomas, who passed away Monday, April 22nd following a prolonged illness. Her colleagues in the Controller’s Office grieve the loss of a tremendous individual and good friend, and our hearts go out to her family in this time of loss.

Sharon began her career at IIT in March 2000 as Payroll Manager and has been an integral part of the IIT staff for thirteen years. She will be dearly missed as a work colleague and friend after her many years of loyal service to the university.

Wake and funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 4 at St. Elizabeth Church, 50 E. 41st Street, Chicago, IL. Burial will follow at St. Hope Cemetery, 11500 S. Fairfield Ave, Worth Township, IL.
