With two strong performances this past week, senior Anida Phetchanpheng has earned Women’s Soccer Player of the Week awards from both the Association of Division III Independents and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for action between September 26 and October 2.
The senior recorded five goals, including two game-winning goals, as the Scarlet Hawks went 2-0 on the week. She began the week with a hat trick against Maranatha Baptist September 30 before concluding the week with two goals on October 2 against Lakeland, scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals. The senior now has nine goals on the year, ranking her in a tie for second in AD3I and tied for 14th in the USCAA.
