Ali Khounsary, research professor of physics, has co-organized and will co-moderate a panel discussion, “Thermo-Fluidic Challenges in Healthcare,” on Wednesday, May 30 at the IEEE-ITHERM 2018 conference in San Diego. The co-organizer and co-moderator is Peter De Bock, Ph.D., principal aero-thermal engineer, GE Global Research.

The panel will focus on some of the thermal and fluidic challenges in the development of novel medical devices and techniques. Participants will discuss recent developments as well as the research opportunities in the field.
