The Pritzker Institute of Biomedical Science and Engineering is solicitating fellowship applications for the 2025–2026 academic year for highly qualified Illinois Tech doctoral students pursuing thesis work in the field of biomedical science or biomedical engineering.
The institute will host a workshop for Illinois Tech faculty on Wednesday, February 19, from 12:50–1:45 p.m. in the lower-level conference room C/D located in the Tech Business Center, 3440 South Dearborn Street.

Phil Troyk, executive director of the Pritzker Institute of Biomedical Science and Engineering, Robert A. Pritzker Endowed Chair in Engineering, and professor of biomedical engineering will discuss the overall goals of the Pritzker Institute Fellowship program. In addition, Georgia Papavasiliou, Pritzker Fellowship administrator and professor of biomedical engineering, will present the essential attributes of the Pritzker Fellowship program, including faculty and nominee eligibility and the application process. Since the fellowship application is initiated and submitted by the faculty adviser(s) and is distinct from traditional graduate fellowship programs, it is highly encouraged for Illinois Tech faculty interested in nominating a qualified candidate to attend this workshop.
