The Office of Community Standards is pleased to announce two webinars for faculty and staff that work closely with Illinois Tech students on August 20 and 27, respectively. These webinars will help faculty and staff support student success. Below you will find the webinars that are being offered.
Students In Distress Webinar

Description: This webinar will provide information about how to respond to students who are in distress or exhibiting disrupting behaviors. The workshop will review strategies to help respond to a student in distress and will outline university and Student Affairs response protocols to streamline access for a student to professional services and provide an understanding of how to respond to a student in distress or crisis.

Student Support: Assisting Students in Extenuating Circumstances

Description: This webinar will provide information on how faculty and staff could support students seeking support during extenuating circumstances. This webinar will focus on the role that Student Affairs plays as advocates for students and how students can ask for accommodations from the Center for Disability Resources.
