The Student Employment Office will host a Professional Etiquette Meal on Tuesday, November 28 from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom for student employees to learn dining etiquette over lunch. There’s a reason many people conduct business over a meal: it’s a strategic way to get to know someone. How you behave before, during, and after a meal tells people a lot about your character, professionalism, and cultural awareness. Whether you’re eating with a boss, recruiter, potential business partner, or long-time client, there are many rules of “proper dinner etiquette” that are important to learn.
