Professor Sonja Petrović has been named a member of the 2024–25 External Advisory Board for the National Institute for Theoretical and Mathematical Biology (NITMB), a prestigious Simons-NSF-funded institute hosted by Northwestern University here in Chicago.​

​The external advisory board is composed of 14 people with experience that runs across the spectrum of science and technology, from those in the private sector to those who lead institutes and national programs themselves.
