On October 3 Christopher Reed of Illinois Tech Men’s Soccer received the Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week award for Men’s Soccer after two strong matches last week.

Reed scored twice in a double-overtime win over Maranatha Baptist on September 26, including the game-winner in the second overtime. The sophomore recorded a double-overtime golden goal for the second straight match and ended the week with nine shots and five shots on goal.
