This is a reminder that effective September 1, 2017, Illinois Tech’s absorption of the 2017 BCBS medical rate increases ended. The increase of approximately seven percent to last year’s premiums became effective January 1, 2017, but was completely absorbed by the university through August 31. Staff should have seen increases on their September 1, 2017, paychecks. Faculty will see them on their Saturday, September 30, 2017 paychecks.
