Illinois Tech faculty and graduate students who are interested in competing for the Nayar Prize are asked to submit a notification of intent prior to the proposal submission date of September 18, 2015.
The Nayar Prize is a $1 million package that has been established to encourage and challenge members of the Illinois Institute of Technology community to develop breakthrough, innovative projects that will, within three years, produce meaningful results with a societal impact. Created by Madhavan Nayar (M.S. IE ’68) and his wife, Teresa, on behalf of the Nayar Family Foundation, the prize will be awarded to a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team composed of Illinois Institute of Technology faculty, staff, and/or students that develops a solution to a complex problem—a solution that produces meaningful results and has significant societal impact.
If you are interested, email your contact information along with a brief notification of intent to Ganesh Raman (raman@iit.edu) or Dennis Roberson robersond@iit.edu.
