Last fall it was decided that the President’s University update should be given to a combined group of both faculty and staff each semester. It was also decided that the faculty business meeting would be separated from the Presidential update to focus solely on conducting the necessary business of the faculty council.
All are invited to attend the university-wide faculty/staff President’s Update on Wednesday, March 2 in the Hermann Hall Auditorium. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and last about an hour. Their will be a reception in Hermann Hall Ballroom/Gallery immediately following the update. Shuttle buses will be provided to bring employees from the Institute of Design (ID) and the Downtown Campus (DTC) to Hermann Hall for the meeting. For staff members who are unable to attend in person, videoconference locations will be available at the Institute for Food Safety and Health (Room 216), Rice Campus (Room 120), and DTC Auditorium. We will also provide a webcast option for ID staff.

Shuttle bus schedule on March 2 is as follows:
- 9:10 a.m. Pick up at Institute of Design (ID), 350 North LaSalle Street
- 9:20 a.m. Pick up at Downtown Campus (DTC), southeast corner of Jefferson and Adams
- 9:45 a.m. Drop off at Hermann Hall
- 12 p.m. Pick up at Hermann Hall to transport to Downtown Campus (DTC) and Institute of Design (ID)
