On Wednesday, February 25, the Office of Spiritual Life, Diversity, and Service celebrated members of the campus community who are working to advance the civil rights movement at the Fifth Annual Sheldon H. Nahmod Civil Rights Awards Ceremony.
The Sheldon H. Nahmod Civil Rights Awards was established in 2010 in honor of Sheldon H. Nahmod, a distinguished professor at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law whose work in supporting civil rights and civil liberties inspires Illinois Institute of Technology faculty, staff, and students.
