Join Illinois Institute of Technology students, university employees, and alumni to give back to Chicago at the 7th annual Big Event on Saturday, April 18, 2015. It’s the biggest single service event at Illinois Tech.
For almost 30 years, universities across the nation have participated in this annual event to show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for community members. This year, we’re delighted to include The Big Event in our celebration of Better Together Week. When people of diverse backgrounds and identities come together, we can make the world a better place for all.
This year’s Big Event will take place at various sites throughout the neighborhoods around the Main Campus and Chicago. You and your friends are cordially invited to participate in this year’s volunteer events.
