Help advance solar energy. On Friday, November 8 (from 6-9 pm) and Saturday, November 9 (from 8 am-9 pm), the Environmental Law and Policy Center will host Solar Hack in the IdeaShop located at IIT’s Tech Park. The Environmental Law and Policy Center is the Midwest’s leading public interest environmental legal advocacy and eco-business innovation organization.

The Solar Hack competition will bring together members of Chicago’s tech, design and clean energy communities for a collaborative session to brainstorm, conceptualize and begin execution of applications to grow solar energy.

Register as a team or an individual and join a team on-site. Prizes include lunch with Chuck Templeton of Impact Engine, opportunities to pitch your concept to solar companies, and spots in the invitation-only City of Chicago Clean Web Challenge. Sign up is free.
