Dear Staff and Faculty Colleagues,
The strength of our university is made possible when we build a community based on mutual respect, belonging, and inclusion for all of our students and colleagues. To guide these critical efforts, we have partnered with The Nova Collective to help us evaluate where the university is on this journey.
I am personally inviting you to our second university town hall where we will share findings from this effort in detail. This will be an opportunity for faculty and staff to come together as a part of our One Illinois Tech community on Tuesday, April 12, from 12:30–1:30 p.m. in McCormick Auditorium in Hermann Hall.
The town hall will be followed by a one-hour reception in the Hermann Hall Gallery from 1:30–2:30 p.m.
Once again, I thank you for taking time to complete the survey and for lending your voice. We value your commitment to learning and supporting each other in our collective growth around the issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Thank you for all that you have done to make our university a more inclusive and welcoming place for all.
Sincerely,
Raj Echambadi
President, Illinois Institute of Technology
