The Office of Community Standards is excited to announce the first of a series of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to support student success at Illinois Tech.
Our first workshop will be our Student In Distress Webinar on Sep. 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CST. This workshop will provide faculty and staff with information about how to respond to students who are in distress or exhibiting distressing/disrupting behavior. The workshop will review strategies to help you respond to a student in distress and will outline appropriate response protocols and provide you with an understanding of how personally and when to respond to a student in distress or crisis (including how and when to refer the student to another campus resource).
