As part of the First Year Experience program, Campus Life will be launching a program called the Freshman 15. This program, which is a list of 15 campus programs/events, is geared towards helping our first-year students fully experience what it is to be an IIT student.

Campus Life is currently taking submissions for events that departments, student organizations, or other IIT-affiliated organizations will  sponsor for the fall 2012 semester. Having your event listed as part of the Freshman 15 won’t require any extra work for your department, but will provide you another avenue to market to students. We are looking for a mix of social, educational and traditional events.

If you are interested in having your event considered as part of the Freshman 15, please email your event (and a brief summary of what it is) to Alex Garrett at alex.garrett@iit.edu. All submissions need to be received by Friday, May 18, 2012. The Freshman 15 list will be released by the end of June 2012, so keep watching the Campus Life site for the updated list!
