Dear Campus Community,
We are excited and proud to share that the Scarlet Hawks women’s soccer team has advanced to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) women’s soccer tournament championship match for the fourth year in a row.
The championship match will be held on Illinois Tech’s campus at Stuart Field this Saturday, November 9, beginning at 3 p.m. (CST). Our top-seeded Scarlet Hawks will compete against the #2 seed Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders.
This championship match offers a great opportunity for our community to rally behind our talented and dedicated student-athletes on our home turf. We hope you will join us this Saturday at Stuart Field to cheer on our Scarlet Hawks!
In addition to the entire team and coaching staff, we would like to congratulate head coach Roshane Ellison, who was named NACC Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. Individual players who also won NACC women’s soccer awards include Caitie Chismarich (BME 5th Year), who was named Player of the Year; Gabriella Baltes (BCHM 3rd Year), who earned the Defensive Player of the Year award; and Eva Narvarte (ARCH 1st Year), who was named Freshman of the Year. You can read more about the stunning semifinal victory that led to the championship berth in this story from Illinois Tech Athletics
