The Chicago location of the Telecom Application Developers Hackathon (TADHack) Global is this weekend! TADHack is a hackathon where locations around the world run in parallel over one weekend, and compete for a global prize pot of $20,000. Founded in 2014, TADHack, has operated either in-person or remotely, and you don’t have to be a coding expert to take part. The awards ceremony is set for Sunday, October 16, at 4 p.m. after a Saturday full of hacking.
TADHack Global is a hackathon where locations round the world run in parallel over one weekend. TADHack helps people learn about the latest internet, information technology, and telecommunication and communication technologies and use those technologies to solve problems that matter to them. Past hacks have included programmable communications/telecoms (voice, video, messaging), Internet of Things, cloud computing, robotics, machine learning, speech and face recognition, mobile payments, enterprise communications, decentralized web, blockchain, encryption, open source, and many other technologies.
