Brigitte Temple has been named the Liberal Arts Conference’s Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performance at the University of Chicago Phoenix Invite November 17–19.
Temple had an impressive weekend for the Scarlet Hawks. On November 17 she was a part of a 400 Yard Medley Relay team that placed 14th with a time of 4:10.24. On November 18 Temple earned a fifth-place finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:07.92) while also earning 12th place finishes as a part of two relays: the 200 Yard Medley (1:53.22) and 800 Yard Freestyle (8:19.15). In the meet’s final day she placed fifth in the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:28.17) and seventh in the 400 Yard Individual Medley (4:48.26).
This week’s honor is her second of the season, as the California native also received the award back on November 1. The Scarlet Hawks are back in action on Sunday, December 2 at 1 p.m. when the team hosts the Ted Erikson Invite.
