Meet Thomas E. Lanctot and David J. Vitale, this year’s Galvin Award recipients.
Lanctot is a partner of William Blair & Company, a Chicago-based investment banking and asset management firm. Prior to joining William Blair, he practiced law for 23 years, and Infrastructure Investor magazine named Lanctot one of the top 10 infrastructure investment bankers in the world.
Vitale began his career at First National Bank of Chicago and went on to hold several executive positions before becoming president and CEO for the Chicago Board of Trade. He later served as senior advisor to the CEO of Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Arne Duncan, then as chief administrative officer, and now as president of the Chicago Board of Education.
