The Student Employment Office will host a Transferable Skills workshop on Tuesday, May 23 from noon–1 p.m. in the SEO conference room in the IIT Tower, Suite 9D6-1. The workshop will teach students skills and abilities which can be applied to a wide range of jobs and industries. Students will identify transferable skills gained through classes, projects, extracurriculars, and jobs to learn how to better market themselves in their job search. The workshop will also cover which transferable skill sets are most desired by employers.
