Undocumented Students and Allies (USA) is an organization committed to providing a safe-space for Illinois Institute of Technology’s undocumented students and raising awareness about key immigrant rights issues in our community. USA will be on the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Bridge from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. from Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13, encouraging all members of the Illinois Tech community to help eradicate the I-word. The I-word is shorthand for “illegal alien” and “illegal immigrant” when referring to undocumented immigrants. USA will be collecting stories, petition and banner signatures, and handing out free buttons.

This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at IIT.
