UNICEF is the global leading not-for-profit organization fighting for children rights and survival. On Tuesday, February 28 from 12:45–1:40 p.m. in the Robert A. Pritzker Science Center, Whitney Cross, from UNICEF Chicago Headquarters, will discuss the problems children face in Chad and how we can make an impact.

Chad is the fifth poorest country in the world, with one of the highest rates of mortality for children under the age of five. UNICEF and other not-for-profit organizations work hard to advocate for childrens’ rights, provide them with basic life support, build schools, educate communities, and protect children.
