Illinois Tech is committed to the health and welfare of students and requires all students who register for one academic credit hour or more to have health insurance. If you do not wish to be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and have comparable health insurance, please complete the electronic waiver online at https://www.universityhealthplans.com/letters/letter.cgi?group_id=436.

All students, including faculty and staff, registered for one credit hour of class is AUTOMATICALLY added to the Student Health Insurance Plan and the fee will be added to your Student Account.

The deadline to complete the waiver form is January 12, 2024. Waivers will NOT be accepted after January 12, 2024.
