The city of Chicago Department of Water Management (DWM) and Benchmark Construction Company have started installing new water mains in West and East 35th Street from South Federal Street to South Michigan Avenue.

Traffic and parking restrictions may be in effect during various phases of the construction process. DWM will also provide 24-hour notice when water service needs to be temporarily interrupted. In the event of an emergency shutdown, DWM may not be able to provide prior warning.
