WIIT 88.9 has a collection of over 8,000 CDs, and it’s time for us to make room on our shelves for new music. On Sunday, October 18 from noon to 4 p.m., the studio will be open to the public and every disc will be free for the taking.

In conjunction with our second annual open house, where you can meet many of our DJs, make short recordings to be played on air, and win WIIT merch, we will let anyone who comes to the event take as many CDs as they wish from the shelves. As long as you have a way to haul it back home, it’s yours.

There will be food, fun, games, and free stuff.

Our station is located in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC), and we will be interviewing people going into the brunch to win WIIT Tote bags.
