Professor Hamid Arastoopour

Henry Linden Professor of Engineering and Director of the Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) Hamid Arastoopour recently visited the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) to participate in an international conference on sustainability and technology development.

On March 14, Professor Arastoopour provided the inaugural lecture, “Review of Fluidization and Fluid/Particle Flow Systems,” for a newly established FURG chemical engineering graduate program. He presented the keynote address, “Continuing the Pathway toward a Global Sustainable Energy Strategy,” at the International Conference in Naval and Offshore Technology: Energy and Sustainability, held at FURG on March 15, 2013.
