Illinois Tech’s Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) has issued a Request for Proposals for the 2022 Cross-disciplinary Seed Funding Grants (CSFG) program. Initiated in 2009, the CSFG program is designed to support and enhance new and innovative cross-disciplinary research concepts that are expected to attract major external funding in areas of national interest related to energy and sustainability. The CSFG program provides IIT faculty with the opportunity to conduct cross-disciplinary research initiatives and obtain proof of their innovative proposal concepts, which will enable them to develop more nationally competitive proposals.

Note:  Proposals must be submitted electronically by close of business (5:00 p.m.) on Monday April 4, 2022, to the Office of Sponsored Research, in conformance with the WISER 2022 CSFG Proposal Submission Guidelines (download at link provided below).

Important Note: WISER 2022 Guidelines for Submission contain procedures (specifically including PI eligibility requirements and Cayuse routing form/submission instructions) that should be read closely before submission.
