Harold Hongju Koh, professor at Yale Law School, will address the topic “Preserving the International Rule of Law in the Trump Administration” at Chicago-Kent College of Law’s 2017 Centennial Lecture. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Tuesday, January 31 from 3–4 p.m. in Chicago-Kent’s Ogilvie Auditorium.
An expert in public and private international law, Koh is the Sterling Professor of International Law at Yale Law School. A member of the Yale faculty since 1985, he served as dean from 2004–2009. Additionally, Koh was U.S. assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights and labor (1998–2001) and legal adviser to the State Department (2009–13) during the Obama administration.
