The Payroll Office will be closed from Wednesday, December 25, 2013, through Wednesday January 1, 2014 and will reopen for business on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Payroll will pay all employees according to the following schedule:
MONTHLY PAYROLL – All monthly employees with direct deposit will have their pay posted to their bank accounts on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
BI-WEEKLY PAYROLL – All biweekly employees will be paid for the period of December 8, 2013, through December 21, 2013, on Friday, December 27, 2013.
Hours worked and recorded on the time sheet the week of December 8 through Wednesday, December 18 should reflect actual hours worked. You will need to estimate hours worked for Thursday, December 19, 2013 and Friday, December 20, 2013. Wednesday, December 25 through Wednesday, January 1, 2014 should be recorded as a holiday. TIME CARDS AND ELECTRONIC TIMESHEETS ARE DUE TO PAYROLL BY 4 pm. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2013. THIS MEANS THAT ALL ELECTRONIC TIME SHEETS MUST BE APPROVED BY 4 pm THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2013. TIME CARDS/ELECTRONIC TIME SHEETS RECEIVED AFTER 4 pm THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2013 WILL NOT BE PROCESSED FOR THE DECEMBER 27, 2013 PAY DATE. Biweekly employees with direct deposit will have their pay posted to their bank accounts on Friday, December 27, 2013.
HOLIDAY SHUTDOWN / TIME RECORDING
December 25, 26, 2013, and January 1, 2014 are university holidays. Eligible non-exempt (hourly) employees who work any of these days will earn holiday premium pay at the rate of time and one-half plus straight time (equivalent 2-1/2 X).
December 27, 30, 31, 2013 are three (3) year-end bonus days with pay. Time worked on these bonus days will be paid at straight time.
January 2, 2014 the university re-opens.
