Festivities for the Institute of Design’s End of Year Celebration start on Friday, May 10, at 6 p.m. at the Kaplan Institute.

Friday: Graduation Remarks

The End of Year Celebration program will begin at Kaplan Institute at 6 p.m. with Commencement Remarks & Reflections from ID Dean Anijo Mathew, Director of Student Success Shari Jones, graduate Jorge Martinez Arana, and ID alum Melody Roberts (MDes 1998).

Friday: End of Year Show 2024.

Following the Graduation Remarks, ID will at 7:30 p.m. open its 2024 End of Year Show: Boundless. A digital version of the show will also be available at eoys.design starting on May 10.

Saturday: Commencement Ceremony

Degrees will be awarded on Saturday, May 11, during the 2023–24 Commencement Ceremony at Illinois Tech in a ticketed in-person ceremony. ID students, family, and friends are invited to stream the Institute of Design, College of Architecture, and College of Computing Ceremony. Saturday Commencement details will be updated at Illinois Tech website.
