Galvin Library has two 3D printers that are available for the Illinois Institute of Technology community to use. Located in the Exploration Space on the lower level, you can create 3D designs on your own, or you can work on a design in a consultation with staff. You also have the option to download and print designs from an online site, such as Thingiverse.com. If you want to see the printers in action or schedule a consultation, the printers are operating during the summer semester on Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. To arrange for a consultation, or for a 3D print job on a different day or time, email Exploration Space staff. Read more about the 3D printers in the Research Guide.
