Join the Department of Food Science and Nutrition for this fall seminar series event featuring Fernando Martinez Jr., a project leader in the Technical Service Department at Ingredion Incorporated on September 23 at 1 p.m.

This presentation will provide a general overview on what Stevia is, the origin of Stevia, how it is manufactured, the composition of the Stevia leaf, and how it is utilized in food and beverage applications. Guest speaker Fernando Martinez Jr. is a food scientist with 14 years of experience working in the food industry. He has worked with ingredients including pea protein, corn soluble fibers, maltodextrins, polyols and Stevia leaf sweeteners.
