Illinois Tech benefits from our longstanding collaboration with partner institutions overseas, such as Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). UPM students come to Illinois Tech to earn a double master’s degree by completing coursework and a (research) project that lasts between 4.5 to 6 months. The International Office and the Office of Research hope that we not only match students with great fitting projects, but that some of these student projects might become part of long term UPM-IIT faculty research collaborations.

If you would like to host UPM student(s) in your lab, or if you wish to continue to host UPM students, please fill out this Google form. Data provided will be used to match UPM students with faculty who can mentor them. You may submit more than one response for different project topics that you would like to offer to students.
