We want to let you know that Degree Works will be upgraded to version 5.1.6 tentatively on December 5, 2025.

This upgrade is part of our ongoing effort to improve your experience with Degree Works. The change will be seamless for you as your usual workflows will remain the same.

What’s Changing?

• Enhancements to the Responsive Dashboard for better performance and scalability.
• Improvements to the audit process, including new options for best-fit algorithms and GPA calculations.
• System updates for improved reliability and security.

This upgrade includes improvements and will resolve some issues, all designed to make Degree Works more efficient and user-friendly. You do not need to take any action. Simply continue using Degree Works as you normally would after the upgrade, but if you encounter any issues accessing Degree Works, please report them to the Illinois Tech Support Desk.
