    Technology Access After Graduation

    The Office of Technology Services (OTS) has created an Alumni Technology Access webpage that explains which software and services will and will not be available to you after you graduate so that you can better plan for the future. Illinois Tech allows students to retain their university email account for life, but access to other services and applications may not be available after graduation or may be available for just 12 months post-graduation.

    Change Coming to Voicemail Delivery Effective January 27

    To improve your experience and resolve the frequent “full-voicemail” message that callers, including our students, receive, on January 27, 2023, OTS will transition the community to receiving voicemail messages via email ONLY. This means that voicemail will no longer be delivered to your voicemail box, unless you specifically take action and request that service to continue by submitting a ticket to the OTS Support Desk/ITS Help Desk.

    Access Illinois Tech Update – Improvements Coming November 14

    This weekend the Office of Technology Services (OTS) will be deploying the next phase of Access Illinois Tech. On November 14, 2022, these are the primary changes you will see include: Access Illinois Tech will be your new “go-to” dashboard for most university applications and resources, All of the applications that are currently in your myIIT Portal 9-box grid (in the top-right corner of the myIIT portal) will move to the Access Illinois Tech dashboard, and your university password will be managed through Access Illinois Tech.

    Notice of Upcoming Telephone Testing on October 14, 2022 (New Date) – No Anticipated Impact to Service

    As part of the university-wide VoIP telecommunications project that was completed last year, the Office of Technology Services (OTS) has configured a redundancy link (i.e., backup system) to ensure voice services will not be interrupted in the event of an outage. On October 14, 2022, OTS will be testing this link during the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

    Notice of Upcoming Telephone Testing on October 7, 2022 – No Anticipated Impact to Service

    As part of the university-wide VoIP telecommunications project that was completed last year, the Office of Technology Services (OTS) has configured a redundancy link (i.e., backup system) to ensure voice services will not be interrupted in the event of an outage. On October 7, 2022, OTS will be testing this link during the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  During this period, all incoming, outgoing, and 911 calls will be routed over this backup link.  There should be no interruption of service.
