Hundreds of IIT/IITRI faculty, staff, and family members spent a summer afternoon outdoors at Morton Park on Main Campus for the annual university picnic, held on July 24. The weather was ideal, with temperatures in the sunny 70s. Attendees had a chance to relax, listen to music, and enjoy a lunch that featured a variety of hot sandwiches, salads, and cupcakes in flavors such as Dreamsicle, red velvet, and turtle.

The day proved to be an extra-lucky for more than a few picnic-goers, who won prizes ranging from gift cards to an iPad Mini in the picnic raffle. The Quality of Work Life Committee extends its gratitude to the raffle’s many generous donors.
