IIT’s Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) and the Food Research Institute housed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are teaming up to host the 2013 Water Quality and Food Safety Symposium which takes place on Thursday, September 19 at the Hyatt Regency O-Hare in Rosemont.

A number of presentations will feature discussions such as public health considerations, agriculture water safety, and water reuse for aquaculture. The cost to register is $325, but there are special rates for students ($100) and employees ($175). Registration closes on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
