The 11th Annual Health, Fun and Fitness Fair will take place from 10 am-2 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the southeast corner of 33rd and State Streets, in the field north of S. R. Crown Hall.
The fair is co-sponsored by Illinois Tech Office of Community Affairs, Illinois State Senator Mattie Hunter, the Institute of Positive Living and others. This community event is filled with diverse activities all centered around health and wellness.
Highlights include free health screenings, document shredding provided by AT&T, a balloon launch salute to victims and survivors of breast cancer, bingo for senior citizens, the Jesse White Tumblers and much more. K-8 students will receive free back-to-school book bags. Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians for health screenings and other activities.
