IIT’s Master of Mathematical Finance (MMF) program ranked 14 on the list of “25 Great Master of Financial Engineering Programs 2015” on the website master-of-finance.org. The MMF is a joint program of the Department of Applied Mathematics and the Stuart School of Business.

Ranking criteria included whether the program had innovative program offerings such as online courses, evening courses, and part-time options. Programs were also ranked based on details such as the availability of concentrations and internships.

The MMF program, which was also recently ranked among the top 25 financial programs in the nation by QuantNet and Financial Engineer, integrates financial economics, theory of mathematical finance, theory of probability and stochastic processes, applied mathematics, computational mathematics and statistics.
