The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its ECE Research Seminar Series on Friday, November 10 from 11 a.m.–noon in Siegel Hall, Room 188. This week’s guest speaker, Patrick J. La Riviere, will present his talk: “Towards Color Computed Tomography: Opportunities and Challenges in Spectral Computed Tomography.”
La Riviere received his A.B. degree in physics from Harvard University and Ph. D. degree from the University of Chicago. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Chicago, where his research interests include tomographic reconstruction computed tomography, x-ray fluorescence computed tomography. and computational microscopy.
