The College of Science will be hosting a special summer event to welcome incoming graduate students in the departments of applied mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics to Mies Campus. (Incoming undergraduate students in these departments are also welcome to attend.)
Students will begin the day with a poster session followed by a BBQ lunch. The event will be held on Friday, August 16 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.:
10 a.m.–noon Poster session (with judging)
Noon BBQ lunch begins
1 p.m. Remarks by department chairs and the dean; poster winners announced
2 p.m. BBQ ends
