Presenter Mark Pituch is the academic program officer at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States in Washington, D.C. His talk will focus on the the history of European integration, the current euro crisis, and the fiery resistance of the PIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Greece, and Spain) to adopting economic austerity measures.
