Adam Kotsko, Assistant Professor of Humanities at Shimer College, will discuss the history of the devil from its roots in the Hebrew Bible to its development in Christian thought at 3:15 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Shimer College’s Cinderella Lounge.

The discussion will focus particularly on the devil’s place in theological debates about the problem of evil and the end times.
