Accepting Programs for Student Leader Summit

The Office of Campus Life will be hosting the second Student Leader Summit, a leadership opportunity for IIT students, on Saturday, September 15, 2012, in Hermann Hall. Faculty and staff are invited to propose sessions that will be of interest to the IIT student body. The deadline for program proposals is Friday, July 13.

The Student Leader Summit is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to mingle with their peers and learn from IIT staff. The goal of the summit is to help students gain leadership skills that they can apply to their work in student organizations as well as to their future.

Topics of programs could include conflict management, diversity, gender and leadership, communication, public speaking, leadership styles, etc. Proposals of all topics, not just those listed here, are welcome. In each proposal, please include the following information: name of program, name of presenter(s) with contact information, format of workshop (seminar, traditional workshop, roundtable, etc.), and format of workshop.
