Applications Being Accepted for Stuart School of Business Dean

Illinois Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of dean of Illinois Tech’s Stuart School of Business.

As provided in Appendix E of the Illinois Institute of Technology Faculty Handbook, the search committee has recommended and has been charged by the provost to conduct an internal search.

The university seeks an academic leader with demonstrated administrative experience; evidence of success in program building; a record of successful fiscal responsibility and budgetary management; a history of collaborative relationships; success in securing external funding; and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should hold the rank of tenured full professor within the Stuart School or, if currently tenured in another academic unit at Illinois Tech, be qualified to be granted tenure at the Stuart School.

The dean will be responsible for the operational and strategic decision-making of the Stuart School academic programs, administration, communication, and fundraising. The successful candidate will be committed to the university’s goal of diversity and inclusiveness, and have a demonstrated history of working effectively with persons of all races, genders, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, religions, and backgrounds.
