Apply to Work With the Global Leaders Program This Summer

The Illinois Tech Global Leaders Program (GLP) invites advanced undergraduate and graduate students to apply to be program instructors and program interns this summer.

Formerly the IIT Boeing Scholars Academy, the four-week summer program provides high school scholars with interdisciplinary activities focused on increasing exposure to STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), solving real-world problems, and preparing them for the college application process. Program instructors are responsible for leading a cluster of 15-17 high-achieving high school students (rising juniors and seniors; “GLP Scholars”) through a four-week summer program. Program interns provide administrative and program development support to staff in a wide range of capacities. These positions are especially well-suited for an advanced undergraduate student or graduate student who demonstrates strong leadership, commitment to service, and an interest in working with youth.

Interested students should review the job description here and submit a resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcript to Charlie Lindquist at clindqui@iit.edu.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this opportunity with students who they believe would be a good fit for this position.
