Campus 1871 is a weekend-long (Friday, April 13 through Sunday, April 15) collaborative cross-campus initiative between 1871, Illinois Tech, Northwestern University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Illinois Springfield, DeVry University, DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, and University of Chicago.
The weekend includes Startup 101 crash courses, keynote speakers, mentorship, pitches, and a grand prize for the winning team. The purpose of Campus 1871 is for you and your team to create a viable business model and design for a potential startup company that would solve a meaningful problem in today’s world. Come in with ideas and get ready to pitch to the crowd.

- February 6: Completed applications passed over to the designated university contacts
- Sunday, February 11 at 11:59 p.m.: Application deadline
- Monday, February 26: Confirmed attendees list due to 1871 via Campus1871@1871.com
- Wednesday, February 28: All accepted students are notified
